Deux mashups de fin de mois plut�t dans un style m�tal mais largement �coutable (bref c'est pas fait pour le dancefloor). // Un mashup compl�tement tar� avec Joey Starr et un autre plut�t marrant entre les Stooges, Queens of the Stone Age et Michael Jackson. It's been quite a long time I've ever posted something. Don't worry, I keep silently doing mashups. In fact, I even found a new concept for a mashup album, I've called it Bootwards (Some mashups are finished and I've got quite a lot of ideas). The second of the two following mashups are based on that concept (I Can't Trick will also be one of the highlights of the album). You already guessed the concept ?... As I won't be home 2 weeks, I suppose this is the only mashup I'll release in August (in the meantime, you'll need all this time to recover from this). 2 new boots to finish the month. Particularly one with Outkast that's unexpectedly great (short version added) whereas the other where Bowie meets Xtina Aguilera (or rather DJ Premier, the producer of her latest single) sounds kinda weird, but it's still worth belonging here (I put the two versions so you can hear it if you like). The DevoD Bowie boot was quite a pain in the ass to make it a correct structure (thanks Angel_Anger for the artwork on this one). Plus, two mashups with Godless (...)

Finally I managed to finish this long time project, waiting for the best ideas to come up and taking time to finish each boot.
So, I mashed every song I could out of Nine Inch Nails' latest album, "With Teeth", with songs from various artists and bands included 2 NIN tunes from other albums :).
You may have heard some of the mashups already but most of them are new. I even tweaked Get Down Only, the first mashup I ever made, about a year ago.

I always thought List of Demands by Saul Williams was a great hommage to Stooges' standard "I Wanna Be your Dog". Here's the Stooges riff very simply mixed over the Saul Williams song, It's quite simple maybe too simple. I think (hope) you don't know the french artist included into the second mashup. I put again my Stranglers/Gorillaz mashup as I'm quite proud of it. Last thing, made pretty quick (though I spent more time than I wanted first), a mashup between Chemical Brothers and Depeche (...)

Voil� deux mashups avec du Gainsbourg dedans m�me si j'ai loup� le d�lai du "challenge" pos� par Zebra. un autre, moins r�ussi je pense, entre Lilian de DM et Cold Metal d'Iggy Pop. et aussi un mix entre Mister Chat de Dionysos et Blue Monday, grand standard du mashup. enfin, un mix entre Gorillaz et Stranglers.
