Recently, into a (gone) GYBO thread in the acapella section, someone made an acapella by recording with a MP3 portable device the centre speaker of a 5.1 speaker system. He got a rather decent acapella of Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz.
After I read that, I threw myself up into my music DVDs (the ten I have let’s say) and extracted quite a number of acapella and drumpellas (drums + vocals). I used DVD Audio Extractor to extract 6 mono tracks (5+1) in 24bit/48kHz. So I could normalize them (...)
